There’s Something Fishy Going On #WordlessWednesday #SundayStills

Any guess what this is?

For Hugh’s Wordless Wednesday.

For Terri’s Sunday Stills.

  1. You certainly got the blue fish in for Terri’s Challenge Janis. The gray looks a little like Petoskey stone which you can find in Michigan and people polish it up to make beautiful paperweights or jewelry. The gray stone, upon polishing, turns brown with spots. But I’m guessing it might be an underwater creature that is sleeping and the fish are investigating?

      1. Michigan is known for those Petoskey stones. Well I’d never have figured it was a hippo and I’m glad you had plenty of glass between you and it as they are very dangerous. I was at the Toledo Zoo years ago and the hippo had its own building/living quarters. It was walking around and suddenly plopped into the water sending water flying everywhere – everyone jumped back but we still got drenched. They had bars around his “swimming pool”.

      1. Symbiotic relationship, I think…as a Dental Hygienist patients loved to tell me about the tiny fish that dare to go inside a shark’s mouth to clean teeth and mouth…great photo, Janis 💕

  2. I’d never have guessed it was a hippo, Janis. It does look like human skin, and I have seen those places where you can put your feet in the water, and the fish eat the dead skin. They were quite popular, but I no longer see them on the high street anymore. I guess they lost their interest.

  3. Fabulous photo! I would never have guessed hippo, but as soon as you know, it’s absolutely a duh moment 🙂

  4. Too late to guess, but I would never have got hippo! Re your comment to Jo about adding photos to comments, I have done that occasionally and I think what I did was add the photo to the media library, then I copied the resulting url into the comment.
