Photo101: Solitude

Although the hammock has been battered by the wind and the waves, it was once the perfect oasis in which to spend a quiet afternoon embraced by the ocean and the warm breeze.

My blog is about travel, relationships, photography, and whatever else pops into my head (even, sometimes, issues surrounding retirement and aging).

  1. Solitude in retirement is a beautiful but challenging assignment I am finding! I was so used to the go, go, go world and now I’m adjusting to accepting the solitude. I love this picture and the meaning it brings on how beauty can be found in solitude!
